Sprinkler Fun

The last couple days have been hot - 86 today and it isn't even June! London loves to play in the water. She is always getting into my watering can, turning on the outside facets etc. So, yesterday I thought she might enjoy the sprinkler. Here is a short video of the excitement. The first time she ran into the sprinkler her expression was priceless - I don't think she expected it to be that cold. Lots of giggles and squeals were heard in our neighborhood as I noticed other kids out playing in water.

Game Night Stats Men - 6 Ladies - 3

Game night this month was at Frank and Amy's house. I think my best picture of the evening was on the way to their house. When you are teenager I think you regress back to the sleep habits of a newborn baby. It was funny, at one point Keyton woke up because he felt "little fingers" in his mouth.

Megan and Morgan had a good time with London. They took her to their room with all kinds of fun girly things to play with. It was cute - they kept dressing her up in their play clothes. This is High School Musical cheer leading outfit. They told me that it was very difficult to dress and undress her and thought it was funny that she kept trying to drink out of the baby doll's bottle.

Adam and Dee

Keeping score became an issue this time.

Afterwards Megan talked Russ and Adam into trying the Wii Fit yoga.

Kassade, Keyton, Cody and Taylor spent their time down in the basement playing Rock Band. Some of the singing filtered upstairs - I won't count on them making American Idol.

It was a sad night for the ladies. The men won all three games of Buzz Word, but the food was good and we had a lot of laughs again. Thanks for a great night!

Our Turn

Tonight we got the privileged to watch Annie and Talby while their parents went to Lauren's 8th grade promotion. We decided to take a walk to Dairy Queen - Annie asked why we were walking instead of driving and if we had to go through the drive-thru. We stopped and picked up their brother, Scott. We gave Russ an easy order, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate and chocolate. You may not know but Russ has a difficult time remembering orders. I shared with London and she greatly enjoyed it. Then we walked back home. I wish I would of taken my camera - Annie was sharing hers with London on the way home while riding in the wagon. Sweet. Annie was full of questions and funny statements about her ice cream. We decided to play a game when we got home. We only have a few that everyone could play. They decided on Hungry Hippos. London and Annie caught on very quickly. They were full of laughter and silliness.

B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. (even with a little ice cream still on your faces)

Thanks Annie and Tably for a fun evening. London had a fun time playing with you.

Entertainment

My daughter - how do I explain what she does? She learned to say the word "tickle" before she ever said "ma ma". She does not need videos to entertain herself in the car. This is what she was doing the other day on the way to Grandma Brown's house.

I just love her - she makes me laugh so much. Wasn't this worth the wait for a blog posting?

Sorry the video is sideways, but I can't figure out how to turn it.

I'm still around

Sorry I haven't posted anything lately. I have just been busy, out of town, plus Russ took the lap top out of town for a week. I will be posting some things later this week. When the days are sunny and warm it is hard to be inside typing on a computer. We have had so much rain, so I take advantage when the sun is shinning. Have a good evening
