New Years Eve 2009

Adam and Dea graciously invited us to their house again for New Year's Eve. We had a good time eating, playing games and just talking. Thanks for opening your home again. It always seems to be fun times with this group. Good times - as Russ would say.

This is baby Lily and her beautiful mother

She was by far the prettiest lady at the party. Her first New Year's Eve party.

I just LOVE Jeff in the background!

Steven Baldwin made an appearance - Never thought that John looked like him till Jennifer said something about Barney.

Okay - below is what happens when you let your husband (or at least my husband, Russ) have the camera.

For Family

I was going through some pictures this afternoon and came across this one. It was taken at my nephew, Cody's graduation - maybe 6 years ago. The funny thing is Cody isn't even in it, but what made me laugh more is the expression on Russ, Leslie and Jay's faces. I just had to post it for family. Okay - back to my laundry and picture editing.

Christmas Morning

Since Kassade and Keyton weren't joining us till later in the day - we decided to let London open her stocking in the morning. It just wouldn't be right if she had to wait all day to open something.

This little girl LOVES wipes - she has ever since she was baby. Santa brought her a package of her very own! How many days do you think these will last? Russ said two - I said maybe three.

We were then off to my in laws. They cook a Christmas breakfast for the family every year! Talk about a feast - they always have everything you can imagine (I didn't get a picture of the food - too busy eating). Chuck even will cook your eggs anyway you want them. It is a fun time to pop in and see other family members.

Uncle John and London

This is the newest member of the family - Braden Michael and was born on a very SPECIAL day. He was born on Konley's birthday! How special is that. It was nice for his mother to bring him out on such a cold day. Mike is holding him (not the father) but he looks pretty comfortable holding him - hmmmm I think you and Becca need another one.

"CRAZY" Aunt Becca

Grandma Kathy buys the grand kids ornaments every year. Each grandchild has a theme and she usually hands them out at the Christmas breakfast.

London has Gingerbread - love them

Christmas Evening

After some R&R - Kassade and Keyton came over. We have a usual Christmas dinner of Crab Legs. This year Russ went a little overboard - he bought 8 pounds! HELLO - what was he thinking - 2 pounds each. We definitely ate until we were "crabbed out" - it was all gone. London even enjoyed the crab - I don't know if this was a smart thing to introduce her to already. I can see $$$ for next year.

We moved onto opening presents. London helping Kassade with her stocking.

These were all too fun not to post

I thinking they were having too much fun with the picture taking session

Did you notice that London changed shirts? Had to wear a new one.

Trying to get a picture of her really cute boots.

We definitely MISSED this face on Christmas this year. Konley loved Christmas so much - he was always the first one up in the morning and couldn't wait to open presents. He brought a special little sparkle to our Christmas day. What? tatar sauce and corn? (just an inside joke).

It is comforting to know that he is celebrating Jesus' birthday with him and we will see him again some day. We will always love you and remember you today and always.
