Hide -n- Seek

After the first of the year, London started attending "Hide -n- Seek"

"Hide" God's Word in your heart  -n- "Seek" His will for your life

it's our Wednesday night program for kids

I really like their format and how the incorporate the parents into it

London loves going 

constantly asks "is it Wednesday night church tonight?"

by Wednesday afternoon she is just bouncing of the walls

Last week she said her first memory verse

Russ said he was so proud of her

she marched right up to Brittany

and said her verse even with the sign language

she wasn't scared or even nervous

I just wanted to share this with everyone

Name

London has been learning to write her name

look at how great she is doing!!

I can't believe each week how much she improves

and she is even getting her letters correct with upper and lower case

 . . . next thing I know she will be wanting the car keys :)

Girl's Afternoon Out

Last Saturday London and I had a girl's afternoon out

While Russ, Keyton and Kennedy went to the car show

we did something special together

 We went and saw Beauty and Beast in 3D

A great mother/daughter movie to see

This was London's first movie in the theater

She had lots of questions . . .

. . will there be a lot of little girls

. . will there be a stage

. . can we eat popcorn

. . what type of chairs do they have

. . can I take off my shoes

. . are boys allowed to come 

. . what is 3D?

 enjoying popcorn and oreos before the movie

by the time the movie was over - this tub of popcorn was almost gone!

she did very well and kept them on for 95% of the movie

she took of her shoes, snuggled on my lap, and had a good time

several times she jumped and said - "mommy, it came right at me!"

We had a really good time together

I think she was most impressed with the fancy bathrooms with purple lights

Cereal

Kennedy has been eating rice cereal for about six weeks now

I don't think she likes it any better than the first time she ate it

London never like rice cereal no matter what I put in it

 maybe they are like me and just don't like the texture of hot cereals

since she tolerated the cereal

I thought I would start her on some food this week

she LOVE the sweet potatoes - ate the whole jar

we were told at work to start parking in the back

to make sure there is enough room in the front for clients

(evidently someone complained about this)

i now have to leave at 7:15 instead of 7:20/7:25 to get to work by 7:30

it takes an extra 5 minutes or so to drive around back, walk to the front and get clocked in

last week when i was ready to go downstairs and warm up my car

London asked to have pony tails in her hair

knowing I would be late - i couldn't refuse this request

so i zipped off to work and decided to park in the front since i was already late

well,  i guess this is what i get for parking in the front

someone hit my jeep

glad she came in a reported it

glad no one was injured

glad it wasn't any worse

glad i had my emergency brake on or else my jeep could of ended in the pond

$1400.00 to fix it - glad she had insurance
