PJ Time Tonight

My daughter. . . . sometimes I just can't explain why she acts the way she does.  Tonight she was so funny.  I was changing her into her PJ's and when she gets a shirt stuck on her head -  this is how she acts - goofy faces in the mirror.  I just had to snap a couple pictures.  What is so funny and loving about this behavior  - it reminds us of Konley.  This is something that he would do quite often.  

I think I will just blame this on the chocolate icecream

All I can say is that today was a much nicer day and London's Easter dress is already done.  We spent a little time at the zoo.  It seems that spring is finally on it's way.

New Bed

This past weekend we have moved London from this bed . . . .

To this beautiful bed which came from France via Russ' parents, to his sister - Shanna and now London.

She was very excited to be moving into the big bed

Trying to settle down for her first night - this was a difficult task.

She looks all tucked in and ready to sleep right?  Wrong - I think there was too much excitement the first night.  After we tucked her in, I could hear her talking up in her bed.  30 minutes later I checked on her and she had gotten all the throw pillows I stuck along the wall and put them in a circle all around her and had gotten out of bed to get a few other items to add to her bed.   I fixed the pillows and told her she needed to stay in bed.   Another 30 minutes later she was quiet - okay she is finally sleeping - wrong again.  I caught her standing up in bed trying to twist the blinds open.  I did finally manage get to her to sleep.   Forunately the rest of the week has gone just fine.   It looks like we will be taking the crib down this weekend.

Sewing Partner

This is a little peak of one project I have been working on.

I really enjoying sewing and I have many projects for this summer. I usually sew while London is sleeping or at daycare because she wants to "help" mama sew.

My dinning room table is always covered with a project.

The other day while I was "trying" to sew - this is what pocket baby was doing. I can't remember how much I really got accomplished. I know I did rip out a lot because I wasn't paying attention that included taking out a zipper. Between the constant questions, playing with pins, dancing on the table, reading the pattern - it was all TOO much for me.

It is almost finished - in time for Easter

Happy Birthday Mom

I hope you have a great day and thanks for all you do and being a great mother and grandmother. I had a birthday tribute to you from London but had difficulties uploading the video. So, expect a call from us today.

Side note - this week London and I were going to feed the ducks and when we were stopped at a light she said "I see Nana" I replied you do? where? and she pointed to the crosswalk. There was a lady about your built, glasses and short gray hair. She did look very similar to you. What a smart girl!

Happy St Patrick's Day

Okay - my blog is screwed up - when I am setting up a new post it doesn't show the pictures even though they are there until I post it. Plus I can't pick my font or size while I am up new post. Anyone know what is going on?

Okay Now I think I have fixed something - after 2 hrs on the computer and practically letting the tub overflow while Missy London was in it.

I think it is time to hire someone to do my blog for me. This is causing way too much stress. Now I have to add my three column again. This will do for now.

Confusing

I am trying to update my blog - it is 12:36 AM and I need to get up at 6:00 AM - It may be a little messed up for the next several days so bare with me as I try to figure all this mobo jumbo html junk out. This is so confusing and I don't understand anything - maybe I should just pay someone to do it for me! Where did my left sidebar information go???

Sun/Bread/Ducks/Fun

Today we took a little hike - I just had to get outside after work since it was sunny and up to 50 degrees. Since our jeep is getting new brakes tomorrow I decided to take it up to Bud and Steve's today and drop it off. London and I packed a few things up and headed out. After we dropped the jeep off - we took the riverwalk back home. We had a great adventure together and saw some friends along the path.

We finally found some ducks/geese to share our bread with. London wasn't quite sure what to do when they suddenly came swimming over to her. We learned from another couple that if you go to Wonder Bread store in town and ask for day old bread you can get a whole bag for $1.00. We will remember that for next time.
