 I weighed today at 8 lbs 8 oz and 20.5 inches

 I got 3 shots

. . . . but everyone has been loving on me extra today

Brother

I think Russ feels little better when Keyton is over on the weekends

instead of 3:1 it is 3:2

a little more testosterone in the house

Keyton is a good brother to the girls

he puts up with a LOT of stuff on weekends with London

she really looks forward to him coming over and spending time with her

Hair

- her hair -

may not have a lot of it

it may not be long

still has not had a "first" hair cut

but gosh darn - she has the cutest, wildest curls

and I couldn't love them more

love my "wild hair" girl - as London calls herself

she loves her kitty and Nixon is so patient with her

Smiles

Look at who has been giving us all types of smiles

from little smirks. . . . . . to open mouth

short trip

the other day we took a little road trip up north

 to see Kassade at college

this is her first year at Hesston

it is nice for us - she is only 7 miles away and we or she can pop in anytime

we have gotten several calls "uhh - what are you having for dinner?"

her dorm room

 beautiful sisters

after some dinner we took her out to Dyck Arboretum

we saw about 50,000 turtles in the pond - next time we will bring some bread

I tried to work on some sunset shots, but three of my objects took off to explore

the one that stayed behind didn't cooperative too well - but I got a few pictures

 can't you tell how excited she was modeling for me

has it been that long?

one long year ago . . . .

some difficult challenges

we've learned to love, respect, laugh, cry and forgive

through all these experiences in our married life

one thing has always remained the same

our LOVE for each other

we can always count on each other to be there

especially when it is fun stuff like this

some new fabric from Lila Tueller - "Lola's Posies"
I decided to try something new - the color blue
I am going to make an apron out of these prints

these two pink prints will be for either London or Kennedy or maybe Kassade?

Kassade is more of a blue person

we'll have to see if she would want a new blanket/throw pillows or something 

for her dorm room in a different print

3 new patterns - one on back order

the blanket is for Kennedy - I don't have the material yet

the apron for myself

the posie bag for me also - it is done in laminate

I am excited to try and sew with laminate

but I am waiting for fall to start this one - Lila has a new fabric line this fall

it has some beautiful laminates - I am going to wait till it is available

do I really need 3 more projects? actually 4 when the last pattern arrives

but they are fun

I am still trying to get my quilt done that I started in April

September will bring Halloween shirts to make for the girls 

October - Halloween outfits for 2 girls

November will be Christmas stuff

Oh - I need to make another stocking 

there is never enough time to get it all done
