Picnic Time Again . . .

When Russ got home today we decided to go have a picnic at the park. It was just too beautiful to stay inside. Grabbed a Subway sandwich and chips and off we went.

Giving her daddy a little love

Russ was trying to teach her how to kick the ball. She really never did get the concept, but sure was doing a lot of giggling while trying. Russ would take her and swing her forward so she would kick the ball.

Since I am usually the one taking the pictures - I don't have a lot of me with London. So, it was time to call on Russ to be the photographer.

And as the sun was slowly setting it was time to pack up a leave. London wants to help with everything these days.

mmmmmmm a Dairy Queen Parfait to end the perfect day

One Year Ago

My sweet little baby girl looked like this. Crazy as it was - she had the chicken pox at 4 1/2 months. She did very well and they did not seem to bother her too much. Thanks to Gavin we have one childhood illness is out of the way.

Beautiful Afternoon

Sunday turned out to be a pretty nice day. It was cool in the morning but then the afternoon warmed up. London got to spend quite a bit of time outside.

She mastered climbing up and down the stairs. Now she is working on walking up and down the stairs. It makes me nervous at times but at least she is doing it correctly. She likes to practice on the ones outside - over and over again.

Helping daddy rake some leaves.

Big brother Keyton blowing bubbles for her.

Back to the Future

Kassade got her cell phone back this week. So, she is back in the future. Hopefully she will be able to hang on to it longer. So, anyone needing to get a hold of her – she is just a text or call away. Kassade also had some other good news - she has joined the swim team at Northwest High. She told Russ that she is enjoying it – a little sore though. She is getting straight A's again! We are very proud of her and moods seem a little better these days :)

Understanding

I don't always understand my daughter, which I have learned is normal thing for a mother. When I pick her up from daycare - her routine is to come give me a hug, then go over to her coat and point for me to get it and then she will put it on. For some reason, last week she decided that she did not want to put her coat on. We struggled each day to get it on and then she fussed all the way out to the car. On this particular day, we struggled and cried to get the coat on and then we got home, she refused to take it OFF! I had it off and this is how she put it back on. She wore it for over an hour like this.
