Hot Summer Night

whew - it is another hot summer night - it is 9:17 PM and probably still 85 degrees I knew we were in trouble this morning when at 7:30 this morning it was already 77 degrees out Things we did this week: -finally broke down and turned on the air the last couple days -London and I went to Wendy's and had a frosty then took a walk by the river -stopped by and visited with the neighbors -babysitting one neighbors house while they are gone to PA -offered to another neighbor to take care of her swimming pool while she gone :) - it sure will feel good this weekend -had dinner with Kassade and Keyton last night -met some friends at Bradyfair last night for an outdoor concert -ate THREE donuts at work this morning - we were honoring Judy's birthday tomorrow So now I am enjoying my nice quite neighborhood (now that the neighbors across the street are evicted and gone) , I am sitting on the porch drinking an ice cold marguerita {thanks megan for the recipe} and Russ just went to go get himself some ice cream. I have a bunch of pictures to blog and hopefully will get those posted this weekend. In the weeds???

Who knew that taking pictures in the weeds could be so beautiful.

Russ and I had been complaining that our neighbor hadn't mowed his yard yet. We were tired of the weeds, but then Megan came along and asked to take a couple pictures of London and she wanted to do it in the weeds. I hadn't noticed that there was pretty purple flowers before. It made a great setting and here are a few of them. Just in case you didn't see them on her blog back in May.

Happy Birthday Jeff

This is my older brother, Jeff and today is his birthday. He literally lives all the way across the U.S. - the City by the Bay - San Francisco. Side note - San Fran is a beautiful place to visit if you have never been there. We wish that we could be with you to help celebrate. Have great day and we will see you soon in Ohio.

Water = Fun

London is obsessed with the water facet. Crazy thing is she can turn it on with no problem. She is always running over to the side of the house ( it makes me think of the Gingerbread Man - catch me if you can). This picture is so funny because she had been playing in the water and her pants are soaked - look how bad they are sagging.

Summer is going to be so much fun and I have a feeling that she is going to require a bath every night.
