A Night Out

Several weeks ago Russ and I had the opportunity to go out - alone -
On what most people call a date
We went here for dinner.
It had been a long time and after we got our food, I looked at Russ and said
"why have we waited so long to come back?"
We split the King's Platter
it isn't on the menu but next time you go you need to ask about it
The perfect place for a pregnant woman to eat - I was so stuffed
Since we were able to enjoy a long leisurely meal with no interruptions
It was too late to catch a movie or shop
I needed to walk - so we went to the bookstore
After looking around we plopped down in some comfortable chairs
and started to look at baby girl names
This can become very overwhelming and then you get side tracked
and start looking up your name and others to see what they mean etc
I got even more side tracked when I looked up and saw this book
just starring at me
I jumped up and got it!

Everything sounded wonderful

I bought the book but where do you start?

Swirled & Sprinkled
Dipped and Glazed
Simple and Sweet
Filled and Layered
Piped and Topped
Birthdays
Holidays
Celebrations

Names like . . .
Blueberries and Cream
Streusel
Sticky Toffee Pudding
Cookie Cupcakes - Chocolate Chip/Peanut Butter/Oatmeal Raisin
Martha's Meyer Lemon
Boston Cream Pie
S'Mores
Gelato Topped Minis
Buttercream Blossom
Just to name a few

I haven't made any of them yet
Still trying to decide
but next week . . . one of them will grace my home

Maybe that was a sign that you should name the baby "Cupcake" . . . or "Martha"
